Dr. Sunday Musa Onalo

Dr. Sunday Musa Onalo was born on December 10, 1980, in Bauchi Town, Bauchi State, Nigeria.

He began his early education at St. Catherine Primary School, Makurdi, and later completed it at ECWA Primary School, Kafanchan, Kaduna State, from 1985 to 1990. He then proceeded to the prestigious Government College, Makurdi (1990–1994) before transferring to Rimi College, Kaduna, where he successfully obtained his West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC SSCE) in 1995 with outstanding results.

In pursuit of higher education, Dr. Onalo was admitted to the University of Jos in 1999, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Chemistry in 2005. His academic journey continued at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, where he obtained a second BSc (Hons) degree in Business Administration in 2009.

Through the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (TETFUND) scholarship, he pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management at Kogi State University, Anyigba (now Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba), from 2011 to 2013. His academic excellence and dedication to knowledge led to another TETFUND scholarship, which enabled him to undertake a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration at the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. He completed his PhD in 2018 with a mark of distinction.

With over 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and community service, Dr. Onalo has successfully supervised more than 200 students at both the polytechnic and university levels, including MSc, MBA, and PGD candidates. He is currently a visiting lecturer at multiple universities.

A prolific academic, Dr. Onalo has authored three textbooks and a compendium, contributing significantly to scholarship in his field.

He is happily married with children.
